The women and the Resistance

A meeting and a photographic exhibit to remember them

"Fragments of memory", photographic exhibit’s inauguration, photos by Eugenio Gherardi Angiolini: a beautiful portraits’ collection about the numerous women which participated, in various ways, at the fight of liberation (the Resistance) in Tuscany.
The show’s inauguration was the occasion for a meeting to remember the extraordinary experience of the women which made the Resistance in Tuscany; some of this women, more or less directly involved in it, as Maria Cervi, Didala Ghilarducci and Francesca Rolla, had been participating.
The conference faced the theme of the role which the women got in the Resistance andthe feminine perception of that historical period and of the birth of our Constitution.
